The much hyped first versus second clash was tight right up until the final quarter but an inspired effort by Adam Gibson (23 points, eight assists) and Erron Maxey (19 points) saw Joey Wright's men put in a 29-point final term to crush Perth for the third time this season.
Lakers top Bobcats NBA Western Conference pace-setters Los Angeles Lakers were made to battle all the way before sealing a two-point victory over Charlotte Bobcats, 99-97. The Lakers led by five going into the final quarter but the visitors, led by Stephen Jackson's 30-point haul, remained in touch right until the final seconds.
